Vernazza

This is the town we chose to settle in for our days in the Cinque Terre.

One of the eves, we walked to the top of the hill (more like mountain) and watched the sunset.  It was a great view of the town for blue hour shots too.

Even tho it is a tourist town, it is full of local people doing everyday things.
The beach at Vernazza.
No sand...instead it was smooth flat rocks.  Do you see the heart shaped one?
You had to go through a tunnel to get from the town to the beach.
These two were on the street performing everyday.  They were really talented too, playing a variety of instruments and singing.   She even drug a harp to town one night. It was really nice when they were close to where we had chosen to eat for the evening or sometimes even outside our window.   I am pretty sure that it is not allowed, because I saw the police talking to them almost everyday, then next thing I would see them setting up in a different location.  Finally they would be packing up and heading for the train station.
The train passes right through the town and alongside the port.

One night I was setting up for a sunset shoot and John left.  A while later he came back with 'refreshments'.
