Here are a few shots of the Vatican on our way to see it. These were taken at an overlook of the city at a park.
We were blown away at the amount of people there!
I heard that in large crowds it is best to put your backpack on the front. So I did. Since I didn't want to keep changing lenses from wide to telephoto, I decided to use my point and shoot for the wide shots and the telephoto was still ready to shoot too. John could not resist taking this shot of me with his phone looking like a full blown tourist.
