I started out March with lunch out to celebrate Lindy's birthday.  I know, Lindy is not in the picture as she lives in Colorado.  We went to lunch and sent her a photo of her party. 

A week later, we hit the road for California again, to celebrate Daniel's birthday. The rolling hills were so pretty with spring green, as we neared Los Angeles. 

We made it just in time for me to be able to attend one of Gabe's violin concerts. It amazes me how professional he sounds when he practices and now I have seen it for real in concert form. They performed 'Peter and the Wolf'.

The humming birds were happy to have the Bird of Paradise flowers in bloom in Dennis' yard. These flowers have a comical personality for me.

And this one was determined not to share!

I spotted a nest in this flowering plum.

I took Daniel birthday shopping and out for lunch. They love to call it a shopping spree, which just cracks me up.

Officially 12 years old now!
